Dear Pattaya City, 2009 -2010
This letter is to you,
“My family and I acknowledge you for giving us a beautiful 7 day holiday.
We had an excellent time with windsurfing, para-sailing, snorkelling, underwater diving, and the Alcatraz show.
When we told our friends we are going to be only in Pattaya the underlying attitude of most were “Oh For Sex.”
Pattaya City has everything, sex, sports, shopping, dining, cleanliness, law & order, minus the hypocrisy.
It has a Straight-in-the-Face- Attitude.
What impacted me most was the famous walking street or what people call The Sex Street.
I was impressed by the Karma of this place; which accepts humans from all countries in its fold.
That is the Beauty of Pattaya City; Complete Self-Acceptance with no conversations of Good/ Bad/ Night / Day. Just Being – I AM
It is like a well-rounded human being who has acceptance for its complete nature, with respect & responsibility.
As every human being we are incomplete with certain aspects, emotions, behaviour patterns & many times have difficulty in accepting ourselves completely.
It is up to each one of us to decide what to take.
We took love, respect, enjoyment, happiness & one of the best holidays our family has had.
Pattaya City is like a Mother who accepts all her children & provides them whatever they want; without discrimination or judgements leaving it up to the child as to how he/she wants to grow up.
‘Sex to Spirituality’, Freedom with Responsibility, Acceptance, No Time Restriction, is what one can see if one can read between the lines.
What Pattaya meant to me personally? She is like a Big Mama with a Big Bosom & a Big Heart accepting all; like a female version of Laughing Buddha.
Thank you Pattaya. I already miss you.”
